Our History

Our experienced team of real estate entrepreneurs, real estate attorneys, and qualified clients have a remarkable record of purchasing, enhancing, professionally managing, and making prompt owner-finance mortgage payments since 2014. Anyone who knows James understands his passion for small business and real estate. When he was 12, he started shoveling snow and mowing lawns. By the time he was 16, his landscaping business quickly grew into one of the largest and most successful in the area; it was so successful his parents quit their jobs to work with him full-time.

As James began to explore investment opportunities in real estate and recognized the long-term benefits of investing in real estate, he began purchasing properties for sale in Canada through non-qualifying assumptions.

2006 – 2014

Back in 2006, James made a bold move and liquidated his property portfolio to start a boutique capital firm in Canada. Unfortunately, his timing couldn't have been worse, with the 2007/2008 market crash presenting significant challenges. Despite the setback, James refused to be deterred from his dreams.

Fast forward to 2011, and James took an even bolder step by relocating to the United States to pursue real estate investment and development opportunities. His determination and unwavering passion led him to Florida in 2012, where he partnered with then high-school teacher, who later became a real estate attorney Andrew Easler. Together, they explored various rental property opportunities, and in 2014/15, the two acquired their first rental property.

Through perseverance and a commitment to pursuing his passion, James has proven that obstacles are temporary setbacks on the road to success.

2015

James achieved a significant milestone in 2015 when he obtained his broker license after two years of working as a real estate agent. Shortly after, he acquired his first US property with owner financing. This enabled James and Andrew to grow their property portfolio while minimizing the need for external funding. Over the next few years, the investments generated significant returns, paving the way for further expansion of their affiliated portfolio.

2022

Mange Street, a spin-off of Sell Street Real Estate Advisors LLC, made a strategic decision during the peak of the real estate market in 2022, shifting its focus from a broad range of properties, including residential and commercial condo units, to exclusively acquiring wholly-owned, single and multi-family, and free-standing commercial buildings. This change in direction enabled Manage Street to concentrate on properties with significant long-term growth and profitability potential, resulting in a more targeted and practical approach to real estate investment.

In late 2022, our affiliated client acquired its first free-standing Airbnb property in the heart of Eau Gallie, at the corner of Montreal Avenue and Water Street. After three months of completing a high-end renovation, our clients were thrilled to book their first guest at the beginning of January 2023. The property now boasts highly-rated reviews in a prime location that continue to produce significant cash for them.
